Winner Community Center

The City of Winner has enjoyed the utilization of the Community Center and seeing individuals use it for its intended purpose, however, due to the abuse of the Community Center, the City of Winner will be making the changes for memberships. The Community Center will only be accessible via a free membership with a membership card.


Previous abuse includes but is not limited to:
- Destruction of public property
- Theft
- Arson
- Graffiti
- Personal garbage


- Police Calls due to violence

Residents and businesses in the City of Winner may begin checking out membership cards at the City Finance Office 8:00am-5:00pm immediately.

Rates:

  • Full Day Gym rental

    • Profit/business organization - $250 fee ($250 deposit) $500 total

    • Non-profit Organization - $175 fee ($175 deposit) $350 total

    • Catering additional $150

    • Alcohol additional $500 (a special event license will be required)

 

  • Half Day Gym rental

    • Profit/business organization - $150 fee ($150 deposit) $300 total

    • Non-profit Organization - $75 fee ($75 deposit) $150 total

    • Catering additional $150

    • Alcohol additional $500 (a special event license will be required)

 

Available Rental Dates

Check the calendar to see if the date of your event is available to rent the Community Center, Council Chambers, or meeting room in City Hall. To make an appointment, please contact City Hall at 605-842-2606.

Conditions for using Community Center

1. Must be 18 years of age or more to sign out an access card. There is currently no charge
for a card. Fines and penalties may occur if this process is abused. Misuse of this card
will result in the loss of your card.

2. If you allow others to use your card, or let others in with the use of your card you will
still be responsible for any damages that happen while that card is in use. Our system
tracks what card is used and who it belongs to.

 

3. No one under the age of 14 unless they are accompanied by an adult will be permitted
on site.

 

4. Damages may result in the suspension of your card and you may be held liable to pay for
any damages that occur while your card is being used for access.


5. Building hours will be 6:00am – 10:00pm. If accessing outside of these hours, it may
result in the loss of your card and potential charges.


6. The community center is still able to be privately rented. Hours of operation for private
events will be listed on the rental form.

An annual calendar will be available for all to see. Please leave a note attached or call 842-2606 to reschedule or schedule an extra date.
