What To Do
Named after famous Winner resident, Notre Dame Coach Frank Leahy, this baseball field is one of the gems of our community. The grounds are immaculate and many games have been played and continue to be played on this field. Winner occasionally is host to a state baseball tournament.
Winner Country Club
This 9-hole course at the Winner Country Club facility features 3,175 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course rating is 34.6 and it has a slope rating of 114. The Winner Country Club opened in 1962 and the season runs from April 15th to October 15th each year.
McDonald’s Park & Baseball Field
McDonald’s Park is located right next to the Winner Swimming Pool, giving it a prime location! There is an abundance of playground equipment that children of all ages are guaranteed to enjoy. McDonald’s Baseball field is connected to the park, along with tennis & basketball courts nearby.
Bailey, Daughters, and Jaycee fields are home to many softball & baseball games. Co-Ed Softball, Winner Girls Softball, and Winner Little League host their games at this complex. There is an abundance of playground equipment that children are guaranteed to enjoy. Don't want to play ball? There is a recreatioal walking trail around the complex.
Tripp County 4 H Center & Rodeo Grounds
Each year Winner Regional High School Rodeo, Tripp County 4H Show, Tripp County 4H Rodeo, Elks Rodeo, Chute the Bull, Ranch Rodeo, and Shrine Circus are attractions at the rodeo grounds! Amenities include covered bleachers, a concession stand and indoor bathrooms. The Mid Dakota Fair each August makes great use of the grounds and 4H building. The 4H Center is used throughout the year for 4H events, meetings, receptions and is one of the local voting locations.
Rosebud Arrow, Rod & Gun Club
Any sportsman would be in heaven during a visit to the Rosebud Arrow, Rod & Gun Club. Facilities include a wide variety of ranges that consist of Outdoor Pistol (50 yds), Outdoor Rifle (50 yds), Rifle Silhouette, Pistol Silhouette, Trap, Skeet, Archery, and Airgun. Range Access is open to the public.
